Nishorgo Network is the affiliated network of co-managed forests and wetlands protected area sites. The name "Nishorgo" implies a poetic and all-encompassing image of nature. Nishorgo Network supports the development of the natural resources sector and the conservation of biological diversity. The network is working to develop a protected area strategy that applies to all ecologically and economically significant areas, including freshwater and forest ecosystems. It also focuses on building technical capacity for protected areas co-management. Nishorgo Network expands the geographic area under co-management to ensure the long-term success of conservation initiatives and extends socio-economic benefits to forest and wetland dependent population.read more
